The Cursed Manila Film Center:
Though not a hotel, the Manila Film Center’s tragic tale is too chilling to ignore. Built in 1981 under Imelda Marcos’ orders, the structure was rushed for an international film festival. A horrific accident occurred when a scaffolding collapsed, burying workers alive in wet cement. Instead of stopping construction to retrieve the bodies, the government allegedly continued pouring cement, entombing them within the building.

Today, the abandoned Film Center is said to be haunted by the souls of the trapped workers. Security guards report hearing phantom hammering, cries for help, and ghostly figures wandering the empty halls.
