2002 Ford Ranger 4x4 Manual Transmission Manual Transfercase Swap

Hi Everyone Welcome to the Ranger Shop!

In this Video I swap out my automatic transmission with a 5 speed standard/ Manual Transfercase from a 2003 FX4 level 2.

I like having a manual transmission so I can control when the shifts take place. Especially for towing you can see a big hill coming you can down shift, close to the top of a hill then you can keep it in the same gear, etc. I also like the simplicity of a manual, less electronic parts to break, less moving parts to stop working.

To do this swap you need the transmission, computer, wiring harness, pedals an clutch hydraulic line.
