How to install an insurance black box in your car

This video shows the most common method to install an insurance gps tracker (black box). Some insurance companies offer a different kind of black box that requires a professional to install.
We tried to make this DIY video as detailed as possible since it may be watched by inexperienced users. Please forgive the extra steps... we were all noobs once!
Tools needed: a socket or normal wrench, maybe a screw driver. Wet towels, double sided tape and zip ties are generally provided with the kit.

00:04 Step 1: Open the hood and locate the battery (don't open the hood if the battery is located elsewhere, duh!)
00:14 Step 2: Remove the battery tie down clamp
00:37 Step 3: Clean the top of the battery with a wet wipe
00:47 Step 4: Test fit the black box
01:18 Step 5: Stick the black box to the battery
01:23 Step 6: Double check its location by hand tightening the tie down clamp
01:36 Step 7: Connect the black box to the battery (negative wire first!)
02:42 Step 8: Use zip ties to secure the wires of the gps box
03:02 Step 9: Tighten the battery clamp and enjoy your reduced insurance rates!
