1) About Mark!
Starting off pretty simple, Mark’s real name is Mark Fischbach. He was born on an airbase in Oahu, Hawii on June 28th 1989. He just recently celebrated his 27th birthday and is of half german and half korean decent. He began his youtube career in Cincinnati Ohio but now lives in Los Angeles California.

2) MarkleSparkles
In high school Mark was given the nickname MarkleSparkles because of an incident that occured where someone threw glitter in his hair. His hair was much longer at the time and you can imagine how that would go

3) His strange talent
Mark is extremely flexible in both of his legs, because of this he is able to bend his feet almost completely backwards, making his lower half look as if it was facing the other way.

4) Mark’s Dad
When Mark was getting ready to enter college Mark’s Dad was diagnosed with Cancer. The disease progressed, and a year later when Mark was at home for the summer he woke up one morning to the screams of his mother to find that he father was dying. Mark talks about this in his draw my life video, and is regarded as one of the saddest draw my life moment’s on YouTube.

5) Mark dropped out of college
Mark originally wanted to become a video game designer, but after realizing that may not be very practical he decided to enroll in college for engineering. After realizing that he wouldn’t enjoy this profession, he dropped out of college and decided to pursue voice acting.

6) Mark’s YouTube Origin’s
Marks original Channel idea was to create comedy sketches, and used his entire tax refund to purchase a new camera before creating his channel. However Mark’s channel would eventually lean more towards gaming videos than his comedy sketches and over time became a gaming channel.

7) Mark’s first YouTube Channel
Mark’s main channel, MarkiplierGame was not always his main channel as his original channel was simply named “Markiplier.” However for reasons that aren’t really clarified, Mark’s original account lost the ability to gain revenue from Google adsense, and Mark was forced to create a new channel. In Mark’s last upload to his old channel he tells all of his current fans to subscribe to his new channel and talks about how great it would be to pursue gaming videos as a career. Obviously this choice paid off, as Mark is now one of the largest channels on YouTube.

8) His Speech Impediment
Although Mark is usually thought of for having a magnificent voice, this was not always the case as Mark actually was born with a minor speech impediment. Because of this, Mark has a lisp that particularly gave him problems with his S’s. However after practice and gaining confidence Mark no longer has problems.

9) Mark is a comic book character
Mark has his own Comic Book. Partnering with Red Giant Entertainment, Mark’s first Comic: Markiplier, will be released July 2016 with 3 other issues later to come

10) Mark’s Charity Livestreams
Lastly, Mark hosts a variety of monthly livestreams that he uses to raise money for charity for many organizations. Some of the organizations Mark has helped raised money for are Child's Play, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, and the American Cancer Society. Mark keeps a total of how much money he has raised in the about section of his YouTube channel, and as of the creation of this video has raised over 1 million dollars.
