Birds of West Bengal Part -1 // Paschimbanger Pakhi Part-1 #livinginsolito

Whenever we go for a trip to hills or mountain, beaches, forests , we encounter a lot of birds. Even when we go out of the core areas of our concrete cities, say to some suburbs or to some parks ( which basically act as the lungs of these cities),we do get some birds.
West Bengal being blessed with a wide varieties of topographic features, from the Himalayas to sea shores, from arid plateau to green Gangetic plains - birds belonging to all types of habitats can be found here. As a result , more than 900 bird species have been recorded and doccumented from West Bengal as birds of west bengal or pachimbanger pakhi.
But a large section of us find it difficult to identify these birds of west bengal or pachimbanger pakhi , beyond some commoners like crows , sparrows etc.
So I'll be trying to share photos of birds of Bengal in a series, this video being the first one. Hope this will help some of my friends to identify the birds of west bengal or pachimbanger pakhi during their trips, hope the joy of successful bird identification will make their trips more pleasurable, more memorable.
One disclaimer - this video is not for my birder / bird photographer/ ornithologist friends. This is for those friends who love birds but face difficulties while identifying the birds of west bengal or pachimbanger pakhi.
