The Rock at Meribah

Moses struck the rock, and water poured out. But what seemed like a miracle carried deep consequences.
God had told Moses to speak to the rock, but instead, Moses struck it in frustration. The water came, but Moses and Aaron lost their right to enter the Promised Land.

What can we learn from this moment?
Sometimes obedience means trusting God's instructions even when they don’t make sense in the moment. Speaking instead of striking. Responding with faith instead of frustration.
