About three years ago, I came across the news of a young couple committing suicide by hanging in a noose in Kankai Municipality of Jhapa.
As the couple belonged to different castes, they were afraid of not being accepted in society, and seeing no hope for the future together, they ultimately took their own lives. The feeling of helplessness at that particular moment probably led me to write this song. With utmost sincerity, I dedicate this song to the deceased couple (Asmita Tolami & Ishwor Bhattarai).
Though this song was composed at the time of the incident, I finally decided to share it with you all. I am very grateful to my friends for being part of this music and for their contribution.
