Cool Roofs for the Rural Poor (12 min video)

As a part of the project, Cool Roofs for Rural Poor: Saving Energy, Beating the Heat Affordably—which was funded by the Innovation Challenge Program (fiscal 2014) of the World Bank, International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad, and Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur—conducted experiments to assess the impact of cool roofs on two unconditioned school buildings in rural and peri-urban areas in India. This video presents the details of the experiment and its results.
