Despite the unexpected hail storm and the damage it had done, we finished our journey back to Custer State Park to set up for another work camping season. We doubted that we had made the right decision to drive 2,000 miles back to South Dakota, especially since it seemed like our Honda CRV would be totaled by the hail storm.
