Darius is owned by Annette Edwards, who has been breeding continental giant rabbits for years, and her bunnies have claimed Guinness World Records four times.

The continental giant is actually quite an old breed of rabbit. Originally bred for meat, the big bunnies’ easy temperament and friendly character made them perfect pets. “They’re very special, they’re different,” says Edwards. “They’re a lovely creature, very gentle, and these guys behave more like dogs than rabbits.”

All of Edward’s rabbits seem to be whoppers — like Grace, who’s already sizing up to Darius at only 9 months old!
