Alistair Begg: Holy Devotion
One clear example of a Christian living a holy life is the great Baptist preacher Charles Spurgeon. He has been called the “prince of preachers.” More than 100 years after his death, his sermons and books are still widely read. His ministry at the Metropolitan Tabernacle spanned from 1854 to 1892. During that time, he also founded a college and orphanage, and was a pioneer in many missionary and evangelistic efforts.
