ABANDONED World War Two Collectors House | Forgotten German War Souvenirs and War Memorabilia

Before we start with the explore, photos and documentation of the Abandoned Nazi Collector House, we have to thank Brent from @Abandoned Urbex Canada for agreeing to share this unique and once in a lifetime find with us.

When I saw Brent’s photo gallery I was absolutely blown away, having just come off of my explore and experience of the Abandoned House with War Medals and Nazi Souvenirs, I thought I would never see such things again, but thanks to Brent I was wrong!

Now, unlike the house with the war medals and German souvenirs, the man who owned and lived in this house was a collector, not a War veteran. The man did however serve in the Canadian Armed Forces for the Royal Regiment of Canada, a Canadian Forces Reserve Unit affiliated with the RCR (Royal Canadian Regiment), regular forces. The man’s father however did serve in World War Two for the British Army.

From the outside, the home does look run down and abandoned, cars, tractors, garbage, furniture all litter the property, it is also quite overgrown.

Once I entered the open and unlocked house I found myself in the kitchen which had several blue rubbermaid bins and military style bins with lids, this was where the majority of the items were.

In the living room and other rooms there was more, scattered about along with furniture, children's toys, a 55 inch flat screen TV, a piano, computer and so much more.

There had to be at least a dozen pairs of world war 2 binoculars and several pairs of army boots and uniforms. In the living room, on the couch sat a German SS officers coat.

Amongst the many war memorabilia items found were
- Bayonette
- Several German Uniforms
- An Eastern Front Medal.
- A War merit medal.
- Several German military pass books. So provide clearance throughout a checkpoint or officers building.
- A Nazi party pin. It should either say ADOLF HITLER 1933 or
- An “Erbhof” sign from the Nazi blood and soil campaign stating that a farm could only be transferred in ownership by hereditary transfer within an Aryan family
- Pins and Patches taken from Wehrmacht soldiers from the 1st Mountain Division, a highly elite branch of the German military
- Letters from German soldiers with Hitler and Swastika stamps
- Gas Masks

Exploring this home was exhausting, overwhelming and mentally taxing to know that these items I am touching are most likely all authentic relics from World War 2 and some of the most terrible times in human history.

The kicker out of all this is that the man who owned all of this stuff and lived in this home is still alive, still around and has been active in online collector forums as recently as 2019.

As I do, everything that I discovered was put back where I found it. There was a bag with the most valuable items that had been hidden somewhere before my visit, and I placed it back where I was advised to leave it.

Within a week or two of my solo visit, I had not even posted one photo or told one person of this house but I was told that items had already started to go missing from the house. In a recent post it had been noted that the home had been cleaned up and organized, but not sealed, not locked and not secured.

I wish I knew the details of this home, why these expensive items had been left behind along with so many of this man's other possessions, I will make no assumptions or guesses of what happened. I only hope that this man is okay, and he is able to reclaim his collection and his possessions that he clearly has such a passion for.

As always, please note: If you are a surviving family and have discovered any posts with stress and dismay, please message me immediately. I visit locations with deep respect, and will be happy to remove all traces of these photos and videos at your request.

If I approach any location to find all access points to be sealed, I always walk away. If access is only possible via forced entry, I always walk away. No personal belongings or items are ever removed from any location I explore
