Pembrey Country Park - The Hidden History

Pembrey Country Park wasn’t always the magnificent Carmarthenshire parkland that people see today, previously it was the site of Pembrey’s Royal ordnance factory which produced munitions during WW1 & WW2.

In this Vlog I set out to discover the wartime remains of the park and nearby airfield, the historic relics of shipwrecks along Cefn Sidan beach and the role the area has today with regular and spectacular beach landings by military aircraft.
