THE DEMO MAN - Centurion AVRE in War Thunder - OddBawZ

The Centurion Mk.5 AVRE in War Thunder is a British Assault Vehicle for the Royal Engineers that has additional armour, a dozer blade, ERA and a 163mm mortar that fires a HESH demolition charge. This round is specifically designed for taking out buildings, fortifications and rubble... but it's also VERY effective against tanks!

The 163mm HESH - lovingly dubbed BESH by TheRussianBadger - is actually the second largest HESH round in the game. What makes this round more fun to use is that you can arc the shell over cover and the tank its on is VERY survivable.

The Centurion AVRE can survive HEAT, HEAT-FS and even ATGM's due to its ERA. Although the ERA doesn't cover all of the vehicle, it can still make it incredibly awkward for opponents trying to take you out.

If you can master the gun on the AVRE, it's a really powerful tank!
