I live for the moments that a video game soundtrack actually drops your jaw and it happens to me very few times a year. Every battle theme in this game was heavier and crazier than the last but this one took the cake for once it hit I was FLOORED. I can't believe that Paper Mario had a heavier song than pretty much anything from Doom Eternal (and you can fight me on that).

Someone really has a strange sense of humor that when they're told "okay write the boss battle theme where you fight a tape roll" and they came out with THIS. Some of these riffs have been the most fun things I've played in a very long time. The main rhythm riff is incredibly satisfying to play.

I took a major leap this week with mixing as I purchaseds the Sonarworks Reference 4 which essentially calibrates my speakers to my own room and space and treats a lot of the bad coloring of sound where I'm mixing. Some of you may notice a huge change in sound with this one and I'm curious as to what you guys think! Thanks so much for listening!

I'm also testing out some different titling methods. Bear with me a bit....
