Kilimanjaro Climb Documentary August 2013

A group of 7 friends from the UK document their experiences for 8 days climbing mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania via the Lemosho Route. Kilimanjaro at 19341' (5985Metres) is the highest free standing mountain on earth.
Whilst not a difficult climb the altitude from very early on can cause serious health problems with some climbers.
Fortunately the whole of our group successfully climbed to the summit but not without difficulty.
We raised a collective sum of over £21,000 for a number of UK based charities.

For the technically minded:-
The Blogs were filmed on a Panasonic GH2 with a Sennheiser MK400 Microphone, great quality in a small profile which helped keep the weight down. The Action footage was filmed on a GOPro Hero HD3.
