On our second episode of Chappell // Chats, we sit down with Dustin Smith, owner of Marigold Parlour in Downtown Raleigh, NC (Seaboard Station).

Dustin is a friend and client of Chappell Residential. He and his husband, Burton, are also the proud parents of two beautiful twins! Did we mention they’re social media influencers as well!? (NOTE: Dustin hates the term “influencer”!)

We dive into COVID-19 and its impact on Dustin’s business, local restaurants and bars, discussions on being an LGBTQ parent, household brands like Old Navy, family life, and even cutting your own hair (!?)

Since filming this, Wake County ordered that some small businesses had to temporarily close, like Dustin's salon.
