Climbing Mount Kazbek (5,054 meters) | Georgia, Caucasus | July 2019

Two weeks adventure in a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia, Georgia is a former Soviet republic that’s home to Caucasus Mountain Mount Kazbegi or Kazbek (5,054 metres) near Chechnya. Mount Kazbegi is the third-highest peak in Georgia (after Mount Shkhara and Janga) and the seventh-highest summit in the Caucasus Mountains. Kazbegi is also the second-highest volcanic summit in the Caucasus, after Mount Elbrus.
