New 2023 Mitsubishi Colt Hybrid Hatchback Firstlook

The Colt was an iconic model for Mitsubishi, being a major player in the small class. For the seventh generation Mitsubishi Colt, the Japanese use the Renault Clio facelift model from the alliance, rebranded according to the Mitsubishi design language. Since its introduction to the European market in 1978, the Colt has sold more than 1.2 million units over its six generations. The new 7th generation Colt is based on the CMF-B platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance and will be available for sale starting in October.

Both inside and out, the new Mitsubishi Colt offers a dynamic and modern design. The front is characterized by Mitsubishi's dynamic shield front design framed by LED lighting that creates a unique light signature. Centrally positioned is Mitsubishi's eye-catching and iconic diamond logo, which is enhanced by the lines of the bonnet.

From the side, the new Mitsubishi Colt exhibits proportions that define an agile urban car, confident and ready for adventure.

The rear section with COLT and Mitsubishi badges also echoes the same theme, while a spoiler lip and under-bumper guard complete the design, emphasizing the vehicle's strong stance

The model will be available in five colors, from Onyx Black to Sunrise Red and solid Arctic White.

The choice of interior variants helps to give the refined cabin the right character, thanks to the available materials that differentiate the look and feel of the new COLT. according to Mitsubishi it is more spacious than ever, despite its compact dimensions and comfortable for 5 people. In addition, the trunk has a capacity of up to 391 lt .

In the basic version, the driver has a digital instrument panel of 7 inches , while depending on the version it can reach up to 10 inches . In addition, the infotainment system ( 7 inches in standard equipment, optional 9.3 inches ) offers increased connectivity options with smartphones , for which wireless charging is also provided .
The engine line-up is also shared, starting with an entry-lever 1.0-liter three-cylinder offering just 65 hp mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Next comes the supercharged version with a 1.0-liter turbo system and 90 HP alongside a six-speed manual gearbox.

In the range there is also the Colt HEV with a full-hybrid propulsion system that uses the 1.6 liter petrol engine alongside the 36 kW electric motor and the multimodal transmission for a total power of 145 HP. The battery that powers the electric motor has a capacity of 1.2 kWh.

The Mitsubishi Colt model will be produced at the Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey. The first deliveries will take place in October of the current year.
