Ford is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to provide strong technical and people leadership for the FSR/LSR+ platform, which powers service scheduling experiences for Ford and Lincoln customers, dealers, and Ford Pro users globally.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Lead design and delivery of complex Dealer Management System integrations

Drive engineering excellence across microservices ecosystems

Champion modern engineering practices (TDD, BDD, CI/CD, API-first, Shift-Left)

🧠 Skills Required

Java, React, Node.js

SQL & NoSQL Databases

Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

REST APIs & Domain-Driven Design

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Systems Engineering

10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience

4+ years in microservices & cloud-native architectures

3+ years in customer-facing applications/web platforms

3+ years in engineering leadership roles

Strong mentoring, facilitation & cross-functional collaboration skills

➕ Preferred

Master’s Degree (Engineering / Computer Science)

Experience with Micro-Frontends, High Availability systems, Pub/Sub architectures
