Ghost Towns of the Keweenaw: Freda, Michigan
Located on the west coast of the Keweenaw Peninsula you'll discover the small community of Freda, MI which is the site of the former Champion Stamp Mill. After the mill closed in 1967, the populate dramatically declined to create one of the Copper County's most beloved ghost towns. Visitors explore the ruins set on the shore of Lake Superior.
