How To Polish and Paint Vintage Aluminum Flathead Heads

Now that the frame and body are nicely painted, its time to clean up some of the vintage speed parts to match the rest of the build. These Edelbrock heads were on the Mercury Flathead block that is going into the Ford Free-T. They are not in terrible shape but are weathered and show signs of use. Matt takes us through the process of polishing the sides of the heads, as well as the fins and lettering. Once polished Matt lays down some Eastwood 2k High Temp Engine Paint, in Gloss Black of course. These heads have the right amount of shine and pop to accent all of the other chrome items on the engine.
