Happy Sunday Afro Dolls & Gents!!! So I decided to continue the Tips On Caring For High Porosity Hair series because I'm always learning something new about hair, thus I'll have more information and tips to share with you guys! I recently learned a ton about pH balance, how it effects the cuticle and methods that help to lower a raised cuticle. As you all may know, I have high porosity hair. I don't color, perm, or even straighten my hair often, but it is porous. (High porosity hair CAN be heredity) With that being said these tips will work best for someone with normal or high porosity hair. Low porosity ladies or men, your cuticle is naturally closed/flat so you probably wouldn't want to try these methods to further close your cuticle.
