Welcome back to Love Advice TV. In today's video, Coach Adrian is going to reveal how to get your ex back by texting. So many people reach out to Coach Adrian asking if he has sample texts, things that they can text their ex to get them back. Coach Adrian does have sample texts, but he doesn't think it's a good idea because he believes that a tailored approach is best. You need to make sure that you send text messages that will resonate with your ex based on your situation, their personality, your love story and what has happened between you.

We like to tailor our text message templates to an ex based on the reality of your relationship. There are rules however that can help you be more successful when texting your ex. What you need to keep in mind though is that everything needs to be coherent. You can have the perfect text at the perfect time, but if you've just been needy and clingy for months on end, perhaps it may not be a good idea to send the text, and it might be better to not reach out at all.

As relationship coaches, we at Love Advice TV and With My Ex Again want to make sure that your roadmap and approach is an entire plan that has been thought out. Texting is not a single, independent factor in the process of getting your ex back. It needs to be a reflection of the correct mindset that you need to be in in order to get your ex back. That is how you get results quickly and how you get your ex back effectively.

There are though some rules of thumb. We don't want you to chase your ex through text, so avoid big blocks of text, especially one you're getting one word or one sentence replies. If you can say things in one sentence, do it. Avoid using emojis. Most of the time people are way too expressive with emojis, and it makes it look like you're seeking your ex's validation, and it can backfire. It's not your responsibility to keep a conversation going. In some cases, when you're in the re-seduction phase of the process and re-establishing communication with your ex, you can take more ownership of the texting and go back and forth. But you can't be needy or clingy or seek their validation. You always need to make sure that you're keeping them on their toes and that the conversation is balanced, because exes have a tendency to feel suffocated quite quickly.

It's important to be you, to be creative, and to go for quality over quantity, because you don't need to text a lot in order to make an impression. Texting can be one of many tools that you're using to regain control and establish a healthy dynamic with your ex. But don't focus on just that one tool. The way that you present yourself, how you rebrand yourself, that you show you actually evolved, are what matter.
