Automated Car Parking System without Microcontrollers || EEE304 L3T2 Project B1G1

With the economy's growth, vehicle has become a necessity in our daily life, increasing the number of cars. Modern vehicles bring convenience to people, yet parking causes severe problems because of poor management at the same time. For drivers and managers, traditional parking management still needs to meet their efficiency, security, and performance needs. Therefore, an intelligent parking system with high efficiency, low cost, and high security is indispensable for people in modern society.
In this project, we have designed an automated car parking system based on basic logic gates, IR sensors, 555 timers, clock counters, 7-segment LEDs, etc. The entrance gate of the parking lot will show the empty slots available to the entering cars for better convenience. When the vehicle is parked at a particular lot, the billing system will start with the help of sensors, counters, and 7-segment LEDs. After clearing the bill at the exit point, drivers could get out of the parking lot. This model project cuts off complicated operations and makes parking simple, effective, and cost-efficient.
