Sequel to one of the greatest Genesis games that could give the Contra series a run for its money. It also has THE coolest boss ever: Green and the Seven Force. There is also the awesome boss theme that accompanies the Seven Force battle (it's more awesome in Gunstar Heroes.)

Playing Hard mode, since it pretty much gives the true ending. Easy difficulty has the story going in a comedic route. Normal is more serious, but not as serious as Hard. The only hard parts on Hard mode are Moon 2 (helicopter section is ASS!), maybe Moon 3 (have to go through ALL 7 forms of Seven Force), Moon 4 (board game), and G-Ark (mainly Pink rematch. Green to some extent).

Changes in the game from Gunstar Heroes: no mix-and-match weapons =(, Lack of throwing and melee (there is some melee: uppercuts, diving kicks, sliding, and a knife), Red has the Force Gun while Blue has the Lightning Gun, and a super attack of sorts.

Oh, and Red is a female. (gender ambiguous in the Japanese version, female elsewhere around the world.)
