Special Report: Vivekananda Rock Memorial - An Endless Journey

A story of an extraordinary rock in the middle of seas, forming the last point of Indian mainland, which inspired a young ascetic embark upon a journey. The monk, who today world knows as Swami Vivekananda is a pivotal figure in the revival of Hindu religious philosophy and its various forms like Vedanta and Yoga.
As the rock memorial completes 50 years of its coming into being, Rajya Sabha TV visits the very memorial and documents its history and legacy through the narratives of people witness to its foundation.
