Old Car Engine Rough Idle Fix | Carburettor Cleaning & Air Filter Adjustment (Step-by-Step)

n this video, I worked on an old model car that was facing rough idle and poor acceleration issues.

The engine was shaking heavily at idle and struggling to pick up speed, which indicated an issue with the air-fuel mixture system.

First, I inspected the carburettor and found partial blockage affecting fuel flow. I carefully checked the butterfly valve response and adjusted it to restore proper fuel delivery.

Next, I removed and refitted the air filter housing. I ensured the filter was clean and properly sealed, because even a small air leak in old cars can cause unstable idle and engine stalling.

After completing the adjustments, I started the engine again and performed a full test. The engine sound became stable, idle improved, and acceleration response was smooth.
