One of the best parts of travel is to meet new people and know their travel stories! I have noticed that traveling truly makes you a storyteller! Met new travelers not only from India but from countries like Syria and the United States! Looking at kids, who were literally toddlers, do the same trek, made a few adults rethink their fitness goals!!

To meet and know new people from different parts of the world is one of the best outcomes of traveling. Travelling makes you gain in experiences that you can tell to the world. People from Syria and the Unites States also visit this part of India. People, including kids and toddlers, visit this place to trek and watch Dzukou festival. And this place is Dzukou valley in Nagaland in India. 

People live in small tents in different locations in Dzukou valley. It may be the helipad or the base camp in the valley. People from different countries in the world come to visit this valley to enjoy its scenic beauty or to trek. The morning beauty here is beautiful that can be enjoyed from the tent while having breakfast. The Sun rises here at about 5 AM.

The narrator shows the inside of her tent and tells about her having morning breakfast while viewing the natural beauty around. She enjoys the company of other girls in the tent, who have also come to visit the valley during the Dzukou festival. The other girls tell about their names and places, where they come from and narrate about their experiences in the valley. All the girls are studying in the same college and are friends.
The narrator then leaves the helipad location to go to the base camp located in the valley. The organizers have chosen three places to pitch these tents. The narrator then introduces her two best buddies, who had come with her to Dzukou valley to trek. They came there for two days but shortened their leaves for one day only. These other girls tell about their experiences. These girls did enjoy the natural beauty of the place and appreciate it very much but are leaving the place early because the place is too chilly at night. The narrator’s best male buddy also leaves with the girls.

The narrator treks upwards to go to the watch tower and tells that the sunset is expected to be around 5.30PM in the evening. A glimpse of local food and the nature around the trek is shown in the video. The narrator decides to stop in the middle of the track, take a time break and go down back since it is late and would be dark soon and the place can become dangerous.

People back in the camp enjoy music as they play the music instruments in the camp. The narrator becomes attracted to the music and talks to the musicians. She asks about their names and the places they are from. The musicians are from Assam and they tell her about the musical instruments and the time period they had been playing these instruments.

Then the narrator met with two other visitors to the Dzukou festival. They were from Syria and Latakia. They were from Guwahati in India. They say that they liked India and the culture of Indian people as they are very open-hearted and share everything with others.

The trek up to the Dzukou festival was not at all easy. The narrator meets with a family with two toddlers as their children and she is surprised to see that these children were not even tired. They were there in a family outing.

The narrator goes back after spending two very good nights in Dzukou valley. She appreciates the beauty of the place and tells that she feels rejuvenated visiting the place. She bids Good-Bye to everyone there and takes the ride to Kohima, Dimapur and back to Delhi after having her snacks at the end of the trail. The video is from Peppy Traveller.
