Attack on Tombaugh Station

The attack on Tombaugh station was mentioned in the original FreeSpace the Great War but we never got to see what happened. This amazing cinematic was again created by the FreeSpace community and shows what they are capable of.

The Shivan cruiser Taranis being towed by the GTT Hawkins with a large escort of ships led by the GTD Myrmidon make it to Tombaugh station to be studied for the sake of the alliance, unfortunately the SD Lucifer super destroyer had found them and began to attack everything with its power forward beam cannons. The alliance made a desperate counter attack but to find the unknown ship was heavily shielded and could not be damaged in any way. Reinforcements arrive only to be slaughtered by the Lucifer and her limitless wings of fighters and bombers.
