Dell PowerEdge R410 build PART 2 | storage controller options

In this video, I'm going to show you some of the storage controller options for IT mode in the Dell PowerEdge R410 server. First, I'm going to show you how to use a Dell SAS6i/R in IT mode, from how to install it, to cross-flashing the card with LSI IT mode firmware. I'm also going to run some benchmarks to show you the performance characteristics of this SAS6i/R card. I'll also dispel some inaccurate myths about this card regarding drive size limitations.

Next, I will also show how to install a Dell H200 with IT mode in the R410 and run the same benchmarks so you can compare the performance of the SAS6i/R vs H200. I think some of you will be surprised by the results.
