Tropical Weather Bulletin - June 9, 2021

Today's tropical weather bulletin sees no active storms, but seven areas of interest to watch across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.

In the Atlantic, two areas of interest have a small chance of development in the southern Caribbean and off the Florida Panhandle.
In the Eastern Pacific, areas of interest may still develop into tropical cyclones, one off the coast of Mexico, and the other further out to sea.
The Western Pacific may also be brewing more activity, particularly in the South China Sea where a broad cyclone may develop and approach Hainan and Vietnam.
In the Indian Ocean, a 40% chance is now in place for a broad area of interest that will soon emerge over the Bay of Bengal, and could affect India with tropical storm conditions along with heavy prolonged rainfall later in the week.
