Taormina, Sicily Lives up to the Hype! Exploring this Hilltop Paradise

What can we say? Taormina LIVES up to the HYPE! An exquisite hilltop town with a magical atmosphere, it sits on the east coast of Sicily near Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano. Just a stone's throw away from the Strait dividing Sicily from the Italian Peninsula, it is a town known for its ancient Greco-­Roman theater still used today, beautifully restored medieval buildings, breathtaking views around every corner, and a weaving network of winding streets strewn with shops, bars and restaurants.

In this episode, we stroll through the gorgeous park of Villa Comunale and showcase its breathtaking views, visit the 2nd largest Greek theatre in Sicily, find pistachio and granita heaven at Bam Bar, and wade through the water on a narrow stretch of sand to reach Isola Bella - a tiny island and nature reserve… all while eating our fair share of paninis!

Taormina is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the world, and the mild Sicilian climate makes it an ideal destination any time of the year.
