Relaxing Japanese Countryside & Octopus Story | Tottori

This is Fukuoka Shrine deep in Hoki Town - in a forest on a hill. It’s known from an Octopus Festival / Ritual that takes place in mid October, an octopus that saved a person who fell from a boat. The shrine reenacts the octopus saving the man at the ritual!
The area is beautiful and a slice of Japanese countryside life you wouldn’t ordinarily see
