As KISS landed in Japan for the very first time, fanaticism was at an all time high. Sensing something special was about to take place, the band brought along producer Eddie Kramer (KISS Alive!) to capture 2 shows in Tokyo at the legendary Budokan Hall for an upcoming live album.

Sadly, following the highly successful Japanese tour, this live album (then titled A Rock and Roll Party in Tokyo) was shelved as plans for KISS Alive II were already in the works.

Now, for the first time listen to a recently unearthed master recording of this infamous live album synced to available video footage from the Budokan performances. This is KISS and this is a Rock and Roll Party in Tokyo!
