Real Objects in VR with the HTC Vive
This is a very rough VR demo that I put together for fun today. Seriously, this was about an hour or so of work just using drag and drop components. I attached the Vive hand trackers to real world objects so you can bring them into the virtual world with you. The cup and chair are motion tracked with the controllers. The table and PC are colocated in the real/virtual worlds but are not tracked. My hands were tracked using a Leap Motion. Tracking registration isn't perfect, but it was still fun to play with.
