Sound like Santana for $45?! - PHS Guitar Tone Tuesdays

Guitar Tone Tuesdays is my new video series where every week I show you how to get the guitar tones from famous records in your home studio for under $100. You can even try them out for free!

Today I'm looking at Santana's Smooth tone. This one came out to only $45, and not only does it get his "Supernatural" tone, if you roll back your volume you get his earlier tones as well.

My goal with this video series is to show you you don't need thousands of dollars to get decent guitar sounds at home. I haven't factored the price of a recording interface or the guitar in because I assume you already have those!

This video was a fun challenge because even though my guitar is a PRS Santana SE, I rarely use it to play Santana. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great dual humbucker recording guitar.
