Regime Change in Hungary and Eastern Europe, 1988-1990

Documentary about the regime changes in Hungary and in Eastern Europe. Starting with the crush of the 1956 Revolution in Hungary and the trial of the Imre Nagy, the film offers an overview of the democratic opposition of the 1980s which demanded democracy, human rights and economic welfare while the Communist Party insisted on a single party system, socialism and international proletarian rule.
