The FTC's Proposed Ban on Non-Competes: What We Know and What You Can Expect
The webinar will analyze the FTC's recent enforcement actions and proposed rule banning the use of employee non-compete agreements. We will briefly describe the specifics of the rule – including which types of businesses are not covered – and whether the rule is likely to become law. We will also discuss the separate FTC and DOJ enforcement actions involving non-compete agreements and ways to lessen your risk of becoming a target, as well as alternative approaches to protecting competitive information including trade secrets and the pitfalls to avoid within those alternatives. Finally, we will provide a list of takeaways and best practices.
