LovebirdsAviary #1

We are the UKMalans...well, we're in the UK and we are The Malans...and this was the making of our LovebirdsAviary #1.

This slideshow takes you through the building of our first Lovebird Aviary to house a pair of beautiful Peach Faced Lovebirds. It has taken a while (OK, so a l o o o n g while as this was back in 2006!)

The aviary was made using wood, mesh and love...and sweat and some tears. We were complete novices going into this project and hopefully emerged on the other side a bit wiser. At least the birds had a blast and that was the main thing.

I'm currently at the planning and design stage of LovebirdsAviary #2 so hopefully that does not take 9 years to upload that video!
