Coupler Challenges between the fifth car and your locomotive:

If you already have this set you will know that the enclosed tension lock couplers won't work for push mode operation. You will get derailment on radius 2 and radius 3 curves.

I also tested Lima type couplers from my MK3 coaches but I still got derailment.

I would expect that the shorter hunt couplers will likely have the same problem.

In the running session I used a drawbar coupler I borrowed from the Revolution Trains IPA wagon set I recently reviewed. I used the longer drawbar in order to ensure no contact between the buffers on curves that would lead to derailment. With the drawbar coupler in place I didn't see any derailment on either radius 2 or radius 3 curves and while I limited the speed for the push mode running I'm pretty confident that this coupler configuration will run fine at higher speeds as well.

I didn't see any issues at all with the magnetic couplers between the other coaches in either pull or push mode. Accurascale really should have included a suitable coupler for push mode in the detailing pack. It would have saved us all a lot of time trying out different coupler configurations.
