How Solid Rockets Steer - How Can You Stop A SRB?

As a follow up to my accounting of Delta III failures I clarify that there are multiple ways to steer a Solid Rocket Thruster - some rockets use physically vectoring nozzles, others inject oxidizer asymmetrically into the exhaust. Finally some solid motors incorporate thrust termination systems which blow out panels in the side of the chamber that nullifies the thrust on cue.
