One of the things that helped (still helps) me the most with my OCD wasn't advice, It wasn't reassurance, it wasn't someone having all the answers, or anything to do with words, It was KINDNESS.

My friends & loved ones accepted me even when they knew I was “different” or when I acted “different.”

Who remembers “elbows?” Lol.

They never made me feel judged or weird, and that made a bigger impact than they probably realized (& a bigger impact than I realized at the time).

The power of being KIND can be really big & can help in ANY circumstance, not just Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
