Title: Undertow
Canvas: 16 x 20 inches

For each color I use in my acrylic pour, I add:
10g Floetrol
20g Elmer's glue all
2g Liquitex Basics Pouring Medium
5g Distilled water
20g Paint

Then thinned to the right consistency with a mix of 5% floetrol/95% distilled water. For the colors I want to cell I add ~1 drop silicone oil (dimethicone) for every 2 oz paint mix.

With Artist Loft paints, I find I don't have to thin too much if at all, but with Liquitex Basics, I usually thin with another 10-20g of Floetrol/Distilled Water mix. I go for medium consistency and mounds that disappear in 2-3 seconds when dribbled from about 2 inches from the paint surface with a wooden stick.

Consistent paint consistency is key. Regardless of pouring medium or paint, I make sure all my colors are the same consistency.
