Chilean Folk Music: Eufrasia Ugarte and Benito Aranda on Accordion, 1973
In 1973, ethnomusicologist and future director and curator of Smithsonian Folkways Recordings Daniel Sheehy traveled through Chile on a student fellowship to conduct music research in the field. His film recordings were later digitized by the Ralph Rinzler Folklife Archives.
