Bournemouth beach, is the busiest beach in the area of Bournemouth. Bournemouth has a number of Blue Flag beaches, that are visited by both locals and tourists throughout the year.

The beaches in Bournemouth literally stretch for miles along the coastline, providing golden sands.

The majority of the beaches can be accessed from the cliff top, either via the cliff lifts or by using the winding pathways.

Bournemouth Pier

One of the main focal points and iconic attractions in Bournemouth, is the Pier. The pier in Bournemouth dates back to 1880 and now provides a variety of entertainment for visitor. Not only does the Pier provides amazing views across the bay but you can now enjoy a show at the theatre, play in the amusements arcades, have a meal in the cafes and restaurants or a boat trip from the Pier.

Land Train:

One of the great ways to see the whole of Bournemouth beach and seafront, is to take a trip on the Land Train. The Land Train runs at regular times throughout the day going Eastwards from Bournemouth Pier, to Boscombe Pier.

West Cliff Lift:

Built in 1908, The West Cliff Lift provides access to the cliff top from the the cliff, you will experience the stunning panoramic views across the coastline.
