Commemorating World AIDS Day on Hart Island
Today is World AIDS Day. NYC's Hart Island is the city's public cemetery, and America's largest burial ground for people who died of AIDS. This year, we opened the island to the public for the first time, thanks to the advocacy of families who fought to tell this story and reduce the stigma of the disease. Join us on an upcoming tour: https://on.nyc.gov/47usCbf
