Trailer - Responsible Mining in Europe: A new paradigm to counter climate change

Do Europeans really want #teslacars but no mines? On 20 October, the long-awaited documentary “Responsible Mining in Europe: A new paradigm to counter climate change” will be launched. In this 22-minute documentary Peter Tom Jones (Director KU Leuven Institute for Sustainable Metals and Minerals - SIM2 KU Leuven) searches for answers to Europe’s seemingly problematic relationship with primary #mining of #energytransition #metals. Note that the documentary, which was developed in collaboration with the award-winning director Stijn van Baarle (STORYRUNNER), will be complemented with a series of vodcasts: i.e., in-depth interviews with some of Europe’s leading voices in the critical raw materials sector. The first two vodcasts will be launched next week. Vodcast #1 and #2 feature, respectively, Anders Sand (Boliden Mines) and Maria Nyberg (EC, DG GROW).
