Performance Demo of MNT Reform with RCORE RK3588 Processor Module
To demonstrate the performance of the RCORE Rockchip RK3588 Processor Module for the MNT Reform Open Hardware Laptop, we recorded various applications and games running on Debian GNU/Linux with the open source Mesa Panthor graphics driver on 2024-04-12.
The apps are:
- MPV H264 decoding in software (dual screen with Firefox)
- Firefox (H264 video decoding in software, GitLab IDE)
- Half-Life running on Xash3D Engine
- Chromium (OnShape CAD, WebGL Samples)
- Meson/Ninja building Mesa in Foot Terminal, Htop
- Celeste64
- Minetest/Mineclonia
- Rawtherapee
- LOST DAW with SurgeXT plugins
The Desktop environment is Wayfire and Waybar, customized by MNT Research.
