Silent hiking in The Netherlands | Nature near Amsterdam
The 'Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen' are a nature reserve located between the Dutch towns of Zandvoort and Noordwijk. The area consists of dunes, woodlands, fresh water lakes and canals. Two thirds of Amsterdam tap water comes from the filtration areas of this park. Hence the name 'Waterleidingduinen'. The area is home to a lot of animals. You are certain to see many deer and birds. And perhaps foxes, squirrels.
The area is approximately 5 kilometers wide and 10 kilometers long and there are a lot of trails. This silent hiking video was shot during a 16 kilometer hike in May 2024.
